E-mails containing only links often end up in the spam folder automatically. Please inform the recipient of the link if necessary.
When opening the link on another device, exactly this shopping cart will be loaded, not just a copy of it. Your shopping cart is then linked to several devices. Changes (e.g. article or address) made with one device are therefore also visible on linked devices when the shopping cart is opened.
If another shopping cart was already created on the target device (e.g. with different articles or address details) and the shared link is being opened, the former shopping cart may be overwritten after a confirmation prompt. However, you can ensure later access to the former shopping cart on that device by also saving its share link.
Only make changes to the shopping cart (e.g. article or address) on one device at a time, otherwise changes may be overwritten unintentionally.
Please note that the full shopping cart functionality is also available on the other device after you share the link, which includes: emptying the shopping cart or submitting the order with the contact details you may have already entered.
Therefore, only share the link with people you trust after you speak with them.
You can also unlink a device from a shopping cart by deleting the cookies in your browser. Please note that you will then no longer have access to the shopping cart unless it is still linked to other devices or you have saved its share link beforehand.
