Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 33 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. By communicating closely with customers Billi-Bolli keeps refining and enhancing their children’s furniture range constantly. After all, satisfied parents and happy children are our greatest motivation. More about us…
Children love to build cozy caves out of mats and pillows. But how nice would it be to be able to fall asleep in their own cozy house every night? With our ↓ roof, any of our loft beds or bunk beds can be transformed into a house bed. The ↓ roof beam sets extend the possible heights of the house roof. With the optional ↓ roof curtains, you can ensure even more security.
Our loft bed that grows with your child, here with swing beam and roof when set up at height 5.
Our loft bed that grows with your child, here without swing beams and roof when set up at height 5.
Our floor bed, here with feet and roof extended by one grid size.
The house roof can be attached to all of our children's beds. It doesn't matter whether there is a swing beam in the middle (the roof goes over it), the swing beam is on the outside or the bed has no swing beam.
If the loft bed, bunk bed or youth bed is no longer to be a house later, the roof can be removed at any time.
The roof, here in beech, is mounted on the loft bed that grows with the child. In this example, the sleeping level is mounted at height 4. When the child is later assembled at height 5, the roof moves up. If you buy 2 additional side beams from us, the roof can be built higher beforehand, while the sleeping level itself is mounted lower.
Height of the roof: 46.2 cmIf the side beams on the bed are 196 cm high (e.g. with a loft bed at installation height 5), the total height of the bed with roof is 242.2 cm.
The roof is only available for beds with a mattress length of 200 cm (standard).
The roof is not possible in combination with the following elements (unless it is attached even higher using ↓ additional beams):■ Climbing wall or wall bars on the short side with a mattress width of 90 or 100 cm■ Bedside table on the short side (except for mattress widths of 120 or 140 cm or if the bedside table is attached to the 1st side beam instead of the 2nd, i.e. lower)■ Board on the short side (except for mattress widths of 120 or 140 cm or if the board is attached lower than the sleeping level)■ Wagon■ Swing beam in the lengthwise direction
The rafters of the roof are screwed to a side beam on the left and right of the bed. You will soon find various sets of beams here that you can use to attach the roof even higher than the side beams already on the bed. Until then, you can contact us for a quote and tell us what you want if you want to attach the roof higher.
Matching fabrics for the roof will be available soon. You will find further information here shortly.
