Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 33 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. By communicating closely with customers Billi-Bolli keeps refining and enhancing their children’s furniture range constantly. All children dream of flying. The children who have experienced flying first-hand found their dream job already and want to become a pilot. We can turn this dream into reality now with our Plane theme board.
No matter whether daytime or nighttime, shorthaul or longhaul flight: In the Billi-Bolli plane bed little pilots always travel safely, climate-neutral and 1st class.
The plane is finished with a colour varnish (red with blue wings).
The Plane will be attached to the upper area of our loft beds’ and bunk beds’ fall guard. A mattress size of 200 cm and ladder position A, C or D ⓘ are required. Please note that ladder and slide cannot simultaneously be mounted on the long side of the bed.
The additional protection board, essential for the assembly, is already included in the delivery and needs to be attached to the inside of the bed. The wood type and surface treatment should match the bed. If you order the Plane later, please specify which wood type/surface treatment you need in the “Additional notes and requests” field during checkout step 3.
The Plane is made of MDF and consists of two parts.
Here you only add the aeroplane to the shopping basket, which you can use to transform your Billi-Bolli cot into an aeroplane bed. If you still need the whole bed, you will find all the basic models of our loft beds and bunk beds under Kids' Beds.
