Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 33 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. By communicating closely with customers Billi-Bolli keeps refining and enhancing their children’s furniture range constantly. A lot of boys love racing cars. Whether Formula 1 or Nascar, even small children are excited about fast cars. What could be better than going to sleep in your very own racing car loft bed every night? With our racing car bed the children will go on a dream road trip every night and arrive well-rested the next morning.
You can either paint the Racing Car yourself or we can add a colour varnish for you (choose colour of the car from our colour selection, tyres are black by default). Depending on the direction it is mounted to the loft bed or bunk bed, you determine whether the racing car drives to the left or to the right.
We also offer a matching Car Steering Wheel, which you can attach at the top of the fall guard on the inside of the car bed.
The Racing Car will be attached to the upper area of our loft beds’ and bunk beds’ fall guard. Ladder position A, C or D ⓘ is required. Note that ladder and slide cannot both be mounted on the long side of the bed at the same time.
The additional protection board, essential for the assembly, is already included in the delivery and needs to be attached on the inside of the bed. Wood type and surface treatment should match the bed. If you order the racing car at a later time, please specify which wood type/surface treatment you need in the “Additional notes and requests” field during checkout step 3.
The Racing Car is made of MDF and consists of two parts.
