Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 34 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. By communicating closely with customers Billi-Bolli keeps refining and enhancing their children’s furniture range constantly. Oh, they've grown up! After nine years, our kids have outgrown the bunk bed.The bed and its many accessories have been with us all these years.
The bed comes with it:- Rocking bar- Bed base with foam mattress (80 x 180 cm)- two slatted frames (and two mattresses free of charge if required)- a play base consisting of three parts (beech)- four blue cushions- a play crane- Curtain poles and two self-sewn curtains for the long side- Safety board (for the short side at the top)- Fall-out protection (for the bottom of the bed)- Ladder guard- Rocking plate with climbing rope (2.5 m)- Adidas punching bag with boxing gloves- Hammock (purchased separately)
The bed was used for sleeping and intensive play, so there are a few scratches or dents in the paintwork. The crane still needs a fixing disc so that it can pull heavy loads again.

This Billi-Bolli bed really was one of the best investments we have ever made!
First as a cot at a safe height, later as a loft bed with plenty of storage and play space underneath, it has now been with our son for almost 12 years - and if we hadn't converted it, he would still be sleeping in it.
The bed is oiled and waxed beech and shows a few signs of use, but these can certainly be removed by re-oiling.
We include the PROLANA Nele Plus 87x200 youth mattress free of charge.
The assembly instructions and invoice are included. I can send more photos if required.
The bed has already been dismantled and can be picked up in 71409 Schwaikheim.

Now that the child resident has become an adult, we are parting with our much-loved loft bed. It has been built up and down several times and also adjusted in height to the child's age and therefore has signs of use. The green bunk boards are missing in the picture. The second slatted frame that was actually bought at the time was disposed of years ago, so it can only be used as a single bed, but a second slatted frame can be obtained quickly. The bed has already been dismantled and the old original instructions are included.
The mattress shown in the picture will be included free of charge if desired. Bedding, toys and other furnishings shown in the picture are not part of the offer.
After 6.5 years, our daughter would like to have a "normal" bed.The bed is in very good condition, only a few marks are visible on the ladder from using the swing. Our daughters have outgrown the Billi-Bolli bed - now we want to pass it on. Made from high-quality, oiled pine, it has developed a beautiful, warm patina over time. It is in good condition, with only a few signs of use, and ready to become a favourite place for dreaming and playing again in a new home.
The two large and sturdy bed drawers on castors are a real highlight. They have housed lots of toys, cuddly toys and other treasures in our home and offer plenty of practical storage space.
We will be happy to help you dismantle it so that you can see how it will be reassembled later. The original invoice, parts list and assembly instructions are of course included.
