Tips regarding international mattress sizes
If you buy a mattress from us, you can choose from any of the mattress sizes we offer for our kids’ beds.
If you already have a “Single” mattress (35 × 75 in, United Kingdom), it can be used with our 90 × 190 cm beds.
If you already have a “Small Single” mattress (30 × 75 in, United Kingdom), it can be used with our 80 × 190 cm beds.
If you already have a “Twin/Single” mattress (38 × 75 in, United States), it can be used with our 100 × 190 cm beds.
If you already have a “Twin XL” mattress (38 × 80 in, United States), it can be used with our 100 × 200 cm beds after some small adjustment to the bed (please let us know upon ordering).
If you already have a “Double/Full” mattress (53 × 75 in), it can be used with our 140 × 190 cm beds.
Mattress Nele Plus for kids’ beds and youth beds
The Nele Plus mattress from the German manufacturer Prolana has two different sides and can be turned so that either the firmer side of the coconut rubber core or the slightly softer side made of natural rubber is on top, depending on how you want to lie down.
For the cover, you can choose between a warming virgin sheep's wool cover or a moisture-regulating cotton cover. The cotton ticking (organic) is removable and washable.
We recommend the mattress variant with cotton fleece for anyone allergic to animal hair. For those who suffer from dust mite allergies, please order a bottle of ↓ Neem Anti-Mite Spray in addition.
We recommend complementing the mattress with the Molleton mattress topper and the mattress pad.

If you need a mattress for one of our beds, we recommend our own mattress brand: our high-quality Bibo Vario mattress has a similar structure to the Nele Plus and is just as suitable for our and other children's beds. It is also slightly cheaper, can be delivered more quickly and is available in more different sizes.
Neem Anti-Mite Spray
If your child suffers from a dust mite allergy we recommend treating the mattress with our Neem spray to keep dust mites away.
The leaves and seeds of the Neem tree provide relief for a wide range of ailments and have been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries – particularly to reduce inflammation and fever and to treat skin disorders. This formulated product has no effect on mammals – including humans – because their endocrine system is not comparable to that of mites. Experiments at the Institute for Environmental Diseases (IFU) in Bad Emstal have confirmed the ongoing effectiveness of Neem Anti-Mite. No settlement of dust mites could be detected in new mattresses, pillows, blankets and mattress pads that had been treated with Neem Anti-Mite. A long-term field study demonstrated that even two years after the start of the test, all previously treated materials were still free of mites.

Our mattress manufacturer only uses natural, high-quality materials for the production of mattresses and mattress accessories, which are continuously tested in independent laboratories. The entire production chain meets the highest ecological standards. Our mattress manufacturer has been certified and awarded important quality seals regarding material quality, fair trade etc.
Material information: rubberised coir
Rubberised coir is a mixture made of fairly traded pure, natural rubber and natural coconut fibres. It is highly elastic but firm and springy. Deep air pockets in the material provide good ventilation. Rubberised coir is robust and free of metal.
