Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 34 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. By communicating closely with customers Billi-Bolli keeps refining and enhancing their children’s furniture range constantly. After all, satisfied parents and happy children are our greatest motivation. More about us…
When Billi-Bolli Managing Director Felix Orinsky was little, few things fascinated him as much as diggers. He expressed his enthusiasm with a loud "digger, digger!" every time he saw a building site. (At least according to his father and company founder Peter, who was more interested in tractors as a child).
With this colourful themed board, the children's bed becomes an exciting construction site and a real eye-catcher in no time at all! The digger inspires little builders and invites them to play and dream. Give your child an extra dose of fun and transform their loft bed or bunk bed into a unique digger bed!
The digger can be easily attached to the bed and brings a creative construction site atmosphere into the children's room. Made from hard-wearing, child-friendly material, it impresses with its clarity and durability - perfect for little digger fans and anyone who loves building sites.
The digger, shown in this photo attached to a bunk bed in the version for smaller children (i.e. the sleeping levels are initially set up at heights 1 and 4), white varnished pine. The excavator covers the entire height of the high fall protection, so it will later move upwards with the entire upper sleeping level when the children are a little older. (Or it can simply be removed if your child is no longer interested in diggers later on ;) Also on the bed here: slide tower, slide and slide gate, baby gate, the swing bar has been attached lengthways here.
Ladder position A, C or D ⓘ is required. Note that ladder and slide cannot both be mounted on the long side of the bed at the same time.
The Fire Engine is made of MDF and consists of two parts.
Here you just add the digger to the shopping basket to transform your Billi-Bolli children's bed into a digger bed. If you still need the whole bed, you will find all the basic models of our loft beds and bunk beds under Kids' Beds.
