Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 34 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. By communicating closely with customers Billi-Bolli keeps refining and enhancing their children’s furniture range constantly. The house bed in the typical Billi-Bolli design is a cosy retreat for sleeping and cuddling for small and older children. Like all our children's beds, it is available in pine and beech. Possible surfaces are untreated, oiled or coloured glazed/lacquered. The optional roof curtains complete the roof of the house.
Unlike other house beds on the market, our house bed is of the usual Billi-Bolli quality made from sturdy 57x57 mm beams. This means that your child can easily hang from the crossbar of the roof. Our house bed is also available in the usual mattress sizes for older children and adults of 80x200, 90x200, 100x200, 120x200 and 140x200 cm.
You can create additional storage space under the bed with optional bed drawers.

This bed model corresponds to our low youth bed type D, but the roof, higher feet, safety boards and roll-out protection for the front are already included.
Depending on the mattress height, there is 110 cm of clearance from the mattress to the highest point under the roof. If you would like even more space, we can also fit the house bed with even higher feet, so that the roof can be raised by 1 grid dimension (32.5 cm) or 2 grid dimensions (65 cm), for example.
The roof is also available separately and can be used with almost all of our children's beds. This means you can also transform a loft bed or bunk bed into a house bed.
