Decorative accessories for our kids’ beds

Our stylish play accessories will knock your socks off: Cosy play areas are created with our ↓ Curtains. Sailors set ↓ Sail and cast their ↓ Fishing Net. The ↓ Flag is an important tool for pirates, knights, race car drivers and train conductors alike. And why not make your child smile with additional ↓ Animal Figures made of wood, such as mice, dolphins, butterflies and horses or add something personal with ↓ Engraved lettering.

In addition to the articles on this page, our theme boards also enhance the look of our beds. At the same time, they close the gap in the high fall guard and therefore increase the safety.

Curtains

Whether stars, ships or unicorns – we offer something for every taste. You can hang curtains to as many sides of your Billi-Bolli bed as you like. Childproof curtain tape is used for attaching the curtains to our ↓ curtain rods.

With beds mounted at lower assembly heights 3 and 4 for smaller children, you can store toys behind the curtains. For preschoolers and children of school age turn the space below the loft bed into a play den or into a snuggle and reading corner. Teenagers will create their own room style with cool fabrics and the student can hide their clothes behind it.

Depending on the mattress size and assembly height of your bed, select the suitable curtain option here. Our seamstress will then turn your desired fabric into curtains. If you know your way around sewing machines and would like to use your own fabric, you can also just order curtain rods on their own.

Beech bunk bed with curtains (Decorative Accessories)

We are happy to send you small fabric samples. If you are located in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, you will receive them completely free of charge. As for other countries, we will only charge for shipping. Simply contact us and let us know which designs from the overview you would like to receive as samples.

Curtains can only be delivered again from January 2026. If ordered together with other items that are available sooner, we may send the curtains next year.

You can select the desired curtain size here. Suitable ↓ curtain rods are also needed for attaching curtains to the bed.

Use the “Additional notes and requests” field during checkout step 3 to indicate which fabric motif you wish to order.

If you would like to add curtains to the entire long side of a bed, you will need 2 curtains. (Note: there will be a small gap in the middle between the two curtains).

For the play tower or the pitched roof bed, you only need 1 curtain for the front side. If you select a curtain for the pitched roof bed, please choose the curtain for assembly height 4.

*) This curtain extends from below the sleeping level to the floor. It is suitable e.g. for the loft bed adjustable by age.

**) This curtain extends from below the upper sleeping level down to a lower sleeping level. Suitable e.g. for the bunk bed, it is compatible with mattresses that are 10 - 11 cm in height (therefore ideal e.g. for our Prolana mattresses). If you prefer to use a thicker mattress for the lower sleeping level, you can adjust the length of the curtains accordingly.

The curtains are made to order by our seamstress and the delivery time is approx. 3 weeks. If you order curtains together with a bed that can be shipped sooner, we will send the curtains in an additional shipment free of charge if necessary.

Our curtains do not “grow” with the bed and are therefore only suitable for the selected assembly height.

Curtain Rods

Regardless of whether you order the curtains from us or prefer to sew them yourself, we recommend attaching curtains to the bed with our curtain rods.

You can also attach the curtain rods to the upper beam of a loft bed assembled at height 2 and turn it into a beautiful canopy bed.

If you make your own curtains, there are different options for hanging your curtains, such as tab top, rings or a rod pocket at the top edge of the curtain fabric.

The length options here correspond to the options available for the ↑ curtains; you can choose matching curtain rods for the selected curtains here if you wish.

If you would like to add curtains to the entire long side of a bed, you will need 2 curtain rods (the curtain consists of two parts in this case).

For the play tower or the pitched roof bed, you only need 1 curtain rod for the front side.

Sail

The sail made from strong cotton fabric sparks new play ideas, creates a lovely atmosphere in the upper sleeping level and protects e.g. from the bright ceiling light in the kids’ bedroom. Each of our sails comes with four grommets and mounting cords in the corners. They are available in pink, red, blue, white, red-white or blue-white.

Fishing Net

Turn the kids’ bed into a real cutter with the fishing net in white. You can attach it to various beams of the loft bed, where it looks cool and will catch balls and small cuddly toys in addition to all that fish.

Flag

When boarding an enemy ship, conquering a knight’s castle or at the departure of a train: wave your flag! There are so many different creative ways to use flags that we only offer them without a skull. They are available in blue, red and white and come with a sturdy holder for the bed, made of beech. This way the flag is always at hand when needed.

string of lights

Our cotton ball light chain with 16 lights in a ball of wool look can be attached in various places on our loft beds and bunk beds. For example, inside or outside on the fall protection, on the swing beam or underneath a sleeping level.

The light is rather dim. It is therefore also suitable for children who fall asleep better with a little light.

16 LED lamps ("cotton ball" look) at intervals of approx. 10 cm; plus approx. 150 cm supply cable with switch. With USB plug. USB power supply unit (5 V) required.

If you have small children, remember to install child safety locks on all electrical outlets in your home.

Animal Figures

The colourful Animal Figures made of lacquered wood decorate our Porthole Theme Boards or Mouse Theme Boards, but can also be glued to the standard protection boards ⓘ or to the Bed Drawers.

Butterflies

The butterflies add a splash of colour and are available in all of our standard colours (see Wood and Finishes). They can be glued to all of the boards.

The size of the small horses has been tailored to the Porthole Theme Boards’ dimensions. You can also attach the small horses mirror-inverted.

Engraved lettering

When ordering milled, personal lettering for a Porthole Theme Board, Mouse Theme Board or Flower Theme Board intended for the long side of the bed and the ladder or slide is positioned at A or B, please specify whether the ladder/slide will be mounted left or right.

For the Locomotive or Fire Engine, please specify the driving direction (as perceived from an outside observer perspective, “to the left” or “to the right”). This way we will know on which side of the board the lettering has to be milled so that it will be visible on the front of the bed.
