Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 34 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. We sell a BilliBolli cot with slide in oiled spruce for mattresses 90 cm (external dimensions L: 211 cm, W: 102 cm, H: 228.5 cm), almost 6 years old, with a whole lot of accessories:
- Bunk boards- Shop board- small shelf (top)- Climbing rope made of natural hemp with rocking plate-Slide- large shelf (bottom)
The new price of the loft bed was € 1,488.
In addition, we had a curtain installed on the front left and on the front, which closes quite tightly – our children wanted to be able to make "really dark" at the bottom (which doesn't work with the curtain rod set). The curtain is light blue with a magic mouse pattern, which is also suitable for girls. It is attached with narrow aluminum rails, removable, and was made by a specialist. (In the photo, the curtain is only at the front, there are two more parts for above and below the shop board. Due to the division above and below the shop board, the curtain can also be used as a Punch and Judy show.)

We are parting with our Billi-Bolli cot, which has served us well for 5 years now. It is the variant treated with oil wax, the matching mattress size is 90x200cm.
The cot is in great condition, there are only minimal signs of wear.

Our daughter is getting bigger and now doesn't want a loft bed anymore and since the smaller brother already has his own, we part with a heavy heart from our Billi-Bolli cot, which we bought in 2005 for just under € 1,000 (today much more) and treated very carefully. The high-quality wood is durable and will surely carry generations of children. Our cot is in very good condition and has only been used by one child.

Unfortunately, our beautiful Billi-Bolli cot no longer fits in our son's new nursery. The 90x190 cm loft bed that grows with the child is made of beech, untreated and is sold with a slatted frame and, if desired, with a mattress.
The original price of the cot, which we bought in 2006, was 1.430,-- €. The invoice is available.

We have already used the cot as a four-poster bed, midi bed and loft bed with and without tower/slide. The little one always had a lot of fun with it and so did all the other children. We have already had 4 children at the same time in the loft bed for overnight stays. We are in the process of moving and unfortunately the cot no longer fits in the new room, so it is now being sold.The adventure bed shows normal wear and tear, i.e. the normal discoloration of the wood over the years. But since the cot is untreated, you can easily sand it down and it will look like new again. Also very helpful if the child wants to immortalize himself somehow on the loft bed. Sand over it briefly and everything is clean. :-)
At that time, we paid almost CHF 2,500 for the bunk bed, tower and slide, with delivery and Swiss customs duties. We would like to have CHF 990.- for it.The cot is dismantled and ready to be picked up.

We are now parting with our beloved Billi-Bolli cot, after our older one has outgrown the loft bed and each child now wants to have his own room. We bought the cot used in 2008 and polished the beams partly with wood wax and partly glazed blue, so that the grain still remains visible. We also sewed curtains and canopies. The canopy for the bottom can be attached to the slatted frame of the upper cot with Velcro.
The bunk bed was in very good condition when we bought it in 2008 and has gained even more due to the beautiful curtains/canopy.
The cot comes from a non-smoking household, is already disassembled and is ready to be picked up from us in Weßling. The pick-up can be ideally combined with a day of swimming at Lake Weßlinger 3 min walk from our house.
When we dismantled it, we noticed that the glaze was apparently not yet 100% dry when we set up the bed 4 years ago. Therefore, in some places where the beams meet, the glaze is damaged. When assembled, however, there is nothing left to see.
We've added labeled Post-It's to the bars to help you find your way around when setting up.
