Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 34 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. The bed was purchased in January 2008 for our then 4 year old daughter.She uses the bed (L: 211 cm, W: 112 cm, H: 228.5 cm) to this day, but now separates with a heavy heart for a youth room.
The bed was originally purchased with a slide tower plus slide and play crane, but these are no longer part of the offer as we sold them a few years ago.The bed has been retrofitted accordingly, but if there is a desire to add a slide, this would be possible at any time, as the appropriate holes are available and we have kept the conversion beams. The slide tower was attached to the left side.

We live in Cologne, the bed can be disassembled for collection by us or dismantled together. This makes reconstruction easier. Original invoice and assembly instructions are available.
The bed cost a total of 2,050 € (without mattress), without slide tower and play crane and with replica this corresponds to a value of 1512 € (without mattress). We imagine a retail price of 750€.

Our son Max was very satisfied with the Billi-Bolli bed, but now came to high school at the age of 11 and wanted to sleep in another room under the roof – with sloping ceilings unfortunately not ideal for a loft bed – so we want to part with it with a heavy heart.

In 2011 we bought the loft bed 90 x 200 cm, pine glazed incl. slatted frame and protective boards for upper floor, grab handles, external dimensions: L: 211 cm, W: 102 cm, H: 228.5 cm
The bunk board is 150 cm for top front and also white glazed.These include a small shelf for the top and a small shelf for the bottom, also glazed white.The loft bed can be converted into a bunk bed (conversion set).A climbing rope made of cotton with accompanying rocking plate is also included. With a heavy heart we sell our Billi-Bolli loft bed growing from pine oiled-waxed.We bought it in 2008 (as a crawling bed, construction height 1) and in 2010 we reordered the conversion set to the loft bed.
