Second hand kids’ beds

Time flies! We bought our Billi-Bolli in 2009 for our son as a baby cot and now it is exchanged for a "sunbathing lawn".
We didn't regret the purchase for a second!
As a baby bed with bars, it offered enough space for mom to come to visit. Later it was used as a cave, castle and climbing tower. It also had to be used for swinging.

We had waxed the wood with beeswax after the purchase. Traces of use are of course present, and in a few places our son has artistically immortalized himself with scribbles. But statically, everything is still tip top, and of course you can sand down the wood and treat it again.

The mattress is no longer dewy, but can be taken with you if necessary.

We part with our first Billi-Bolli bunk bed, as the desire for a wider lying surface now prevails 😉 among the young people. It is well preserved, but was very much loved and played, which you can see on closer inspection in some places.

Even in old age, however, the excellent wood quality becomes apparent compared to cheaper material. If you want to revise the small quirks, you can do so simply by painting, sanding or turning the boards.
Since the new bed is already on hold, the Billi-Bolli bed will be ceremoniously dismantled in the next few days and hopefully experience fulfilled days and nights in another family.

After our move we sell our beautiful 3 bunk bed without mattresses.

We give away the mattress from the bed box, which was hardly used.

This practical bed box consists of 2 drawers. Fit exactly under the bed. Well preserved, rolls in pristine condition.

Our Billi-Bolli bed has brought great joy to two children, but now it's time for them to move on. Our daughter is almost 14 and the bed is currently set up as a student loft bed. Originally it was spruce waxed-oiled, but with the change to the last two waxing stages, we painted it white with a non-toxic paint that can also be used for toys. All parts that are not used for this stage are therefore still waxed-oiled in spruce. Due to the dimensions (mattress 100 cm x 200 cm) the kids used it longer than expected, because there was a little more space.

Since 2 children have played the bed intensively, it shows corresponding signs of use. By painting some could be eliminated, but also the white color is now getting old. So either repair or sand, just as you like.

We are an animal-free non-smoking household.

Since we are renovating in the summer, our 3 kids want new beds. We bought additional feet in 2021, so you can also set up the beds as a half-height bed and bunk bed. As a 3-bed it is a custom-made product. We wanted the stairs to the side at the top so there is more space for the lowest bed.

Here we sell our 3-bed bed newly acquired by Billi-Bolli in 2016. We rebuild and the children get their own room, so we unfortunately have to part with our beloved bunk bed for reasons of space.

Our daughter is well on her way to becoming a teenager and has therefore outgrown the Billi-Bolli bed. It has remained in the same place since its construction and is in very good condition. Due to the extra high feet and the total height of 228.5cm, it is particularly suitable for rooms with high ceilings. Installation heights 1-7 are possible. The play floor could be replaced by a 2nd slatted frame, so that the bed is also suitable for 2 children. The bed boxes have the dimensions 90x85x23cm and offer space for really a lot of toys.
