Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 34 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. It is with a heavy heart that we part with our very special children's bed: originally it was an over-corner construction of a bunk bed and a loft bed (the bed can also be set up in this variant). We bought this bed combination made of untreated pine wood on 20.06.2007 and bought a conversion set in March 2009 to turn the bunk bed combination into two combined bunk beds.
For the lower 2 beds there are slatted frames, for the two upper floors there are play floors to be able to use the whole upper area as a play area. Optionally, one of the upper floors can also be converted into a children's loft bed, as the set includes a 3rd slatted frame (purchased March 2011). For one of the lower beds there are the matching baby gates and the "Prolana ladder cushion". For both beds there are fall protection boards all around (for later or parallel). We bought the set for the 2nd lower bunk bed in December 2009.
The play beds are embellished with knight's castle boards on the front sides and one front. The front of the 2nd bunk bed is connected to a great, long slide (with slide ears). Both conductor areas can be secured with conductor grids. An inclined ladder, a swing rope with rocking plate, as well as 2 bed drawers are also included.
