Passionate companies often begin their journey in a garage. This is also where Peter Orinsky developed and built the very first children’s loft bed for his son Felix 34 years ago. It was very important for him to only use natural materials, provide strong safety features, clean workmanship as well as a high degree of flexibility to ensure long-term use. The sophisticated modular system has been so well received over the years that the successful family business Billi-Bolli emerged – complete with master craftsmen working in our very own Workshop in the east of Munich. Loft bed spruce honey-colored oiled
We bought the cot in December 2004.
As accessories there are two berth boards, a curtain rod set with matching curtains, as well as a steering wheel.There is also a slatted frame and a Nele plus youth mattress.
The bunk bed is in good to very good condition with slight signs of wear.
The cot is still set up and could be dismantled together in our animal-free non-smoking household in the west of Munich (Obermenzing).Of course, the original invoice and assembly instructions are also included.
The purchase price at that time was 1237 EUR.Our asking price is 700 EUR.
That went very quickly, the bed is already sold (number 1005).Thank you for giving this opportunity to adjust the bed. We bought the loft bed in Aug. 2008, at the end of 2010 it was extended by the lower cot with the bed drawers. Included are:
- Bunk bed, laterally offset, with bunk boards- 2 bed drawers, one with bed box division- removable ladder grid (not in the photo)- small shelf- large shelf
The bunk bed is in good condition, only the upper beam at the head of the lower cot is a bit scuffed.
There is another exit at the right end of the loft bed, as we had originally attached a slide here (no longer worked after the lower cot was installed). But the children really loved climbing from the upper cot to the lower one and vice versa, so we left this exit open. If you don't want that, you would either have to get another ladder grid or order two additional boards from Billi-Bolli and replace them.
