Second hand kids’ beds

It breaks our hearts that we have to get rid of this bed now - best cot ever. Unfortunately, our son has now - felt - become too grown up to want to sleep in it. The bed is nine and a half years old, made of high quality beech wood, white lacquered. Of course, there are scratches and signs of use.
Mattress size is 100 x 200 cm, white lacquered.

Purchase price at that time: 2,081 euros. Original invoice and assembly instructions are available.
Our asking price for everything is complete: 990€. The bed can be picked up in Hamburg.
There is also a mattress, which is of course used, but still good, comfortable, with washed slipcover.
The bed is in good condition according to age. Half a year ago we converted it into the youth bed variant (hence the places without varnish on the photos, which we can email if you are interested - if you rebuild the bed with bunk boards and lower, these places will be covered).
No parts are broken or missing.
We dismantled the bed yesterday. But with Billi-Bolli's instructions, which we provide, it should be a moderate problem to rebuild it.

We sell our children's Billi-Bolli bed because of relocation (the bed no longer fits into the new sloping attic room).

I painted the bed myself and lovingly with white AURO natural dispersion wall paint and sealed it with OSMO hard wax oil. In the last 4 years in a few places a bit scuffed. Otherwise, it is in good condition. I still have various boards to build differently, which of course I give.
The bed was purchased in 2007. The purchase price without mattresses at that time was about 2000, - €. Our asking price is 900, - € without mattresses.

We purchased this ladder protection made of untreated beech with original lacquer directly from Billi-Bolli in November 2016. Time was pressing, so we painted ourselves to save ourselves the delivery time.
It was rarely used, there are few traces of use (see photo).

There are also 2 mattresses with slipcovers, which are of course used, but still clean, tight and comfortable. If you want them, you can take them, otherwise we give them away.

The bed is in good condition according to age. It has no traces of paint or stickers. Since the wood is untreated, it is darkened in the light-facing areas. Also, the wood has darker spots in the places that have often been touched (e.g. stairs, handrail), which could of course be lightened by sanding. Due to wild play, there are also some dents and chicks in the wood, especially in the front bunk board - that's just the way it is when a play bed made of soft wood is also played ;-)
By sanding and oiling / glazing you could certainly make the bed look almost new again. There are no parts broken or missing, as far as I know.

The bed is still set up. It can either be dismantled together when you pick it up (then you can photograph it, label it yourself and number the parts consecutively, for later reconstruction), or if you want I can dismantle it before you pick it up, then you might have to do some detective work during assembly, because we no longer have the assembly instructions.

At the end of 2000 we purchased a youth loft bed and a loft bed "pirate" with rope and rocking plate from you, which we appreciated very much. The children are now (almost all) grown up and we are happy to give up the beds for second-hand use.

The beds are in good condition. The loft bed "Pirat" was used until last week, the youth loft bed until 2015. In the first case, there was a cot underneath, then I attached a second slatted frame on additional original longitudinal and crossbars at a low height, on which the third child then slept (see photo). This slatted frame was not yet included at the time of purchase, with the additional longitudinal and crossbars I do not remember whether we bought them immediately or later. At least they are not explicitly stated either on the building instructions or the original order. However, we offer these and the second slatted frame.

Asking price:

• To bunk bed for two young people extended loft bed "pirate" with rope and rocking plate for 200 €, at that time purchase price: 1190 DM
• Youth loft bed for one person for 150 €, at that time purchase price: 880 DM

Currently, there are still two youth mattresses available, which can be handed in free of charge.
