General Information about our Beds

We offer a wide range of possible bed sizes, allowing you to find the most appropriate bed for your particular room situation and your needs. If you have special requests, please let us know.

Railing:

72 cm high - the highest standard fall prevention you find in kids beds. If you want, we can make it even higher.

Handles:

60 cm long, for safe entering and exiting, supplied by default.

Headroom:

120 cm, allows the installation of a play shop, a desk or a cool play den.

The height of the beam in the middle is 228.5 cm, and can be changed if necessary. The lateral legs are 196 cm high.
The passage width of the ladder is 37 cm if the bed has a 190 cm or 200 cm mattress; 42 cm if the mattress is 220 cm long.

Wood and Surface:

Since we want to meet your needs, our kids furniture is available in 3 types of wood.
Strong 57/57 mm beams, without any pollutants.

Beech: hardwood, only premium quality selected, the first choice for beech fans. Recommendation: oiled surface
Nordic Pine: very good, low knot wood quality, a little more lively appearance than spruce.
Norway Spruce: very good, low knot wood quality.

The standard surfaces are: untreated, oil-waxed (Livos or a product of your choice), honey-colored (Leinos).

We also offer colored varnish or colored glaze as desired:
• Varnish: opaque color, type of wood is no longer recognizable
• Glaze: wood grain shows through

For the frequently ordered colors white, red, blue, and orange, the color is included in the price. We use our colors. If it is important that a very specific hue is used, simply specify the RAL number. We will then order the color and add an extra charge. The color we do not use will be sent back to you upon delivery.

Screws:

The beams are connected with 8 mm DIN 603 carriage bolts. This provides an unsurpassed stability. Why do we not use 6 mm screws? Because they bend easier and the contact area of a 6 mm bolt head is much smaller, as the screw heads are drawn more easily into the wood.
All screw nuts are covered with caps. Choose the color: blue, wood colored, white or pink.

Bed Drawers:

No space wasted: full use of space (90 x 84 cm!), 20 cm high!
Bed Drawers (can be used with bunk beds and cots / baby cribs) are very easily removed from the bed, making for easy vacuuming underneath. Important in case of house dust allergies.

Slatted Bases:

With our beds (adventure beds, loft beds, bunk beds and cots/baby cribs), very good slatted bases are included (high load and flexibility at the same time), because although there are many playing options, sleep should not be forgotten.

Mattress Dimensions:

We offer by default many mattress sizes so that the available space can be optimally used in each case. The most common mattress size is 90 cm / 200 cm. Special sizes on request. A 220 cm mattress (in pine and beech) is also now available, allowing you to use our beds "forever", as many children nowadays are rather tall. We recommend the youth mattress "Nele Plus" from PROLANA for use with our beds.

Accessories:

Billi-Bolli lets you combine accessories according your own personal needs.

Ladder Position:

Possible ladder positions are available to choose from: A, B, C. If there are no special room conditions, we recommend ladder position A. The fully protected area is larger than at position B. With position C at the head of the bed, you will lose wall space and there can be no wardrobe or shelf.

The same possible postions are also available for the slide.

Assembling Possibilities:

All beds can be set up in "mirror image" - on the left or the right!
(With the exception of some special adjustments)
Beds that have two sleep levels can be separated with a few extra bars into two separate beds.
