There are variations of our kids beds that can accommodate a variety of different mattress sizes, allowing you to find the most appropriate bed for your particular room situation and your needs, so that the available space can be optimally used in each case. The most common mattress size is 90 × 200 cm. Beds suited for 220 cm mattresses are also now available (in pine and beech), allowing you to use our beds "forever", as many children nowadays will grow rather tall. Special sizes on request.
We recommend the youth mattress "
Nele Plus" from
PROLANA for use with our beds.
Guardrail:
72 cm high - the highest standard fall prevention you will find in kids beds. The corresponding DIN safety standard is therefore exceeded by quite a bit. If you want, we can make the guardrail even higher.
Handles:
60 cm long, for safe entering and exiting, supplied by default.
Distance between mattress and crane beam:
97.5 cm minus mattress thickness (for a lot of headroom while playing)
Assembling heights and other terms:
Our beds grow with your kids. This means that, over the course of the years, you can assemble the beds at a variety of heights and not have to buy any additional parts. The assembly heights and terms shown here apply to all types of beds. In the drawing: Loft Bed Adjustable by Age, assembly height
Midi-3. Depending on the assembly height, the space underneath the Loft Bed is suitable e.g. for a play shop, a desk, or a cool play den.
Warranty:
You receive a 7 year warranty on all parts, as well as an unlimited availability guarantee!
Wood and surface:
Strong 57 × 57 mm beams, cleanly sanded and rounded.
Solid wood from sustainable forestry, of course pollutant-free.
With a living surface that "breathes" and therefore contributes to a healthy indoor climate.
Since we want to meet your needs, our kids furniture is available in
3 types of wood:
- Beech
Hardwood, only premium quality selected, the first choice for beech fans.
Recommendation: oiled surface. - Nordic Pine
Excellent quality, low-knot wood. Pine has been proven to be an excellent choice in the production of beds for hundreds of years. It has a little more of a lively appearance than spruce. - Norway Spruce
Excellent quality, low-knot wood, also proven to be well-suited for furniture.
The standard
surfaces are:
- untreated
- oil-waxed (Livos or a product of your choice)
- oiled with honey color (Leinos).
We also offer colored varnish or colored glaze as desired:
- color varnish: opaque color, type of wood is no longer recognizable
- color glaze: wood grain shows through
The extra charge for the surface treatment includes colors that are ordered frequently, namely white (
RAL 9010), red (
RAL 3000), blue (
RAL 5015), and orange (
RAL 2003). We use our colors. If it is important that a very specific hue is used, simply specify the RAL number. We will then order the color and add an extra charge. Any remaining color will be sent back to you upon delivery.
Screws:
The beams are connected with
8 mm DIN 603 carriage bolts and additional lock washers. This provides an unsurpassed stability.
(6 mm screws bend out of shape easier and, because the contact area of the head of a 6 mm screw is much smaller, the screw heads are easily drawn into the wood.)
All screw nuts are covered with caps. Choose the color: blue, wood colored, white or pink.
Slatted bases:
With our beds, very good slatted bases are included (high load and flexibility at the same time), because although there are many playing options, sleep should not be forgotten.
Accessories:
We offer a wide range of different
accessories that can be combined according to your personal needs. Perhaps you'd like a Bed Drawer to store toys and laundry underneath the bed, or a theme board for imaginative games, or a climbing wall, or a slide, ...
Ladder and Slide:
The passage width of the ladder is 37 cm if the bed has a 190 cm or 200 cm mattress; 42 cm if the mattress is 220 cm long.
Possible ladder positions to choose from: A, B, C. If there are no special room conditions, we recommend position A. With this position, the sleeping area that is continuously protected is greater than with Position B. If you choose position C (on the short side of the bed), you will lose wall space and there can be no wardrobe or shelf.
The same possible postions are also available for the
slide.
Our kids beds can be assembled laterally reverse. Therefore, there are two assembling possibilities for the slide or ladder position that you choose when ordering.
Assembling possibilities:
- All beds can be assembled laterally reversed as well!
(with the exception of some special adjustments)
- Beds that have two sleeping levels can be separated with a few extra beams into two separate beds.
- Some other variants like Pitch Roof step, "Crane Beam on the Edge", or "gapless base instead of slatted base" can be found at Other Options.
- For subsequent conversion to other bed types, expansion sets are available for all beds!
Assembly:
You will receive an easy-to-understand and detailed assembling manual, with which you will have your kids bed assembled in just a few hours. Per request, we can also arrange for a local craftsman to assemble the bed for you. However, since the assembly is not complicated, this option is rarely utilized.
Consultation:
You are of course welcome to come take a close look at the kids beds in
Ottenhofen (about 25 km east of Munich) and do your own vibration and wobble tests on the spot - of course with extensive consultation and planning of your children's room.

us, we can establish contact with customers in your area where you can go to view our kids furniture. We are of course always glad to provide additional consultation by phone.

A word about bargains:
We know that bargain hunting is very popular. There are always offers such as the Winter Savings weeks in winter, spring discounts in the springtime, etc., and always the same method is used: "If you order before ..., ...". With a little reflection, however, one discovers that companies can only afford permanent bargains if they budgeted them in advance. We think it's fair to do without misleading "Super Savings Offers" and to make family-friendly prices from the outset. According to our customers, we rate very well in the real comparison between quality and price - even without bargains...
