Bunk beds are very popular with parents, kids and teenagers alike. Whether you are looking for a classic bunk bed because you have limited space in the kids’ room or the siblings want to be close to each other, e.g. twins. This bunk bed for kids is an excellent choice in both cases.
The top bunk is assembled at height 5 ⓘ (for kids aged 5 and above, according to DIN safety standard for kids aged 6 and above ⓘ).

The bunk bed for 2, with both sleeping levels mounted on top of each other, creates enough space for your two little heroes to sleep, play, jump and other tough-and-rumble play while requiring only 2 sq. m of floor space. Our extensive collection of bed accessories provides you with endless options to adjust and transform the bunk bed into an imaginative play bed or adventure bed. You could equip the bunk bed with a slide, for example (as pictured).
In addition to professional workmanship and the use of high-quality materials in our own Billi-Bolli Workshop, we place a strong emphasis on the highest safety as well as long-lasting stability of our kids’ and youth beds – as with all of our children’s furniture. So you can rest assured that both of your children will enjoy their bunk bed for a very long time, even as adolescents and teens.
If your kids are still pretty young, we recommend the following variant of the bunk bed, which can be mounted lower initially: upper level at height 4 ⓘ (for children aged 3.5 and above), the bottom bunk at height 1 ⓘ.
You can always mount the variant for younger children at standard height (assembly heights 2 and 5) later without having to buy additional parts.
(If the ladder is attached to the long side of the bed, i.e. position A or B ⓘ, and you would like to add two bed drawers or the drawer bed later once you mount the bed at height 2 and 5, the ladder will have to be shortened so that both drawers can slide out. We do this free of charge, you only pay the shipping charges. Alternatively, you can shorten the ladder on your own with the help of an illustration we provide. This is also the main difference between the bunk bed for younger children and the standard bunk bed: If you order this variant, your delivery will include ladder beams that reach down to the floor.)

Our Bunk Bed is the only bunk bed we know that is incredibly flexible and fulfils the DIN EN 747 safety standard for “Bunk beds and high beds” at the same time. The TÜV Süd extensively assessed the Bunk Bed in line with the safety standard and carried out manual and automatic tests to examine the dimensions, permitted gaps as well as the strength and durability of all bed components. Tested and awarded the GS mark for “Geprüfte Sicherheit” (Tested Safety): the Bunk Bed in 80 × 200, 90 × 200, 100 × 200 and 120 × 200 cm with ladder position A, without Swing Beam, equipped with Mouse Theme Boards all around, untreated and oil-waxed. All other configuration variations of the Bunk Bed (e.g. different mattress size) also meet all the important safety requirements of the testing standard, including the dimensions permitted for gaps. Our great bed has been in use for a month now and the big pirate is overjoyed and loves his elevated sleeping area. Mum is currently still sleeping in the lower level with the little brother (9 months old). When the big pirate needs some closeness to mum, he also enjoys sleeping in the drawer bed. Otherwise, the drawer bed is reserved for the big sister when she visits or for other “landlubbers” 🙂
This bunk bed combined with the drawer bed is simply perfect for our children’s bedroom. We added an oil-finish in Smoky blue and Scandinavian red, so the red cover caps match perfectly. With the additional inclined ladder, even our son with a physical disability can make it up on his own, and the slide ears are great to prevent falls. We alternate the hanging cave with a punching bag, which was a Christmas present.

Hello dear Billi-Bolli team!
We received our bunk bed now about two and a half months ago. Our son, Kilian (now 29 months old) loves it and sleeps very well in it.
His little sister Lydia (11 months) has been sleeping in her lower level of the bed for the last three nights. She’s taken wonderfully to it and both of them are happy each morning that they wake up together and can start playing with someone straightaway.

As promised, here are a couple of photos of our Billi-Bolli bed! Actually it belongs to Johannes (8 months) and Elias (2 years and 9 months), but both brothers, Lukas (7) and Jakob (4½), come over to rampage around in the “little children’s room”!
Since Johannes unfortunately outgrew his cradle, we had to ask ourselves how we’d fit two relatively young children in one bedroom while saving space, keeping it safe and child-friendly. Your Day Bed with Crib has been the ideal solution! We liked it assembled in its “standard” form, but the way it is assembled now it fits our needs perfectly: with the additional beams one can move the baby gates (the baby crib isn’t as large and is more pleasant for small babies). You don’t have any issues with the rungs of the ladder because the baby cannot come up. You also don’t have to cover it from the inside and we’ve now got an extra small cosy corner – ideal for bedtime stories for the older brother who sleeps above. Because we can take the gates off, making the bed is no problem at all!
We are very satisfied that we were able to find such a practical, secure and also aesthetically pleasing solution for our “problem”!

The adventure bed arrived in perfect condition and our son is already sleeping in it – moving out of the family bed seems easier for him with this wonderful bed.

A few ideas on how to add a more personal touch to your bunk bed and adapt it to your and your child’s needs:
If you prefer a closed the lower bunk, you could add protection boards to the wall-facing and to both or just to one short side of the bed. You can secure the front of the bottom bunk with an additional rollout protection.
You can choose rounded or flat ladder rungs.
You can move the swing beam to the corner, if that is more practical.
You can omit the swing beam altogether if you prefer.
You can add a slide to the bunk bed to increase the play bed character. Please consider the size of the kids’ bedroom and the additional space required for the slide.
Instead of the bed drawers you could opt for a trundle drawer on wheels. This way the bunk bed can sleep 3 kids without additional requirements for ceiling height. If the bunk bed’s mattress size is 90x200 cm, the trundle (drawer) bed’s mattress size will be 80x180 cm.
The bottom bunk can be equipped with additional baby gates.
